SchoolBall Saturdays on Gayelle The Channel - Intercol is back
again!
Gayelle The Channel along with many in our nation are concerned about young people. We
look at what brings pride and esteem to our nation, and are committed to providing a channel through which young people
can see sport as a viable option to the negative lifestyle that is unfortunately, readily available today.
Many of our football heroes have passed through the Intercol and Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) system. Many have
fond memories of supporting their schools even after they have left school. Football in Trinidad and Tobago is for many a
great source of entertainment and joy.
Intercol also remains a major source of discovery for young talent,
many of whom go on to be top international players. Yet for some strange reason there is very little coverage of these games
live on television. Gayelle continues its effort to change this. Last year, Gayelle and the SSFL engaged in a three-year relationship
for exclusive coverage of the SSFL and Intercol matches. This year, Gayelle is committed to giving Intercol 2009 the type
of coverage it needs and deserves.
