Day Prime comprises Live programming fillers and is a mechanism devised by Gayelle The Channel to
maintain a Live presence throughout day time Programming. Gayelle DayPrime, was created on the premise that Gayelle wishes
to maintain a Live presence in "Day Time, Prime Time." This concept was made popular and legitimized by the show
Macajuel Time which previously dominated the day time spot on local TV.
As a result of Macajuel Time no longer
being on air, Gayelle DayPrime aims to keep the viewer informed and entertained in between all Gayelle's regularly scheduled
programmes. There are five hosts currently on Gayelle DayPrime, they all share the update spots including 2 daily 1/2 hour
spots where they have the opportunity to interview guests, raise topics of the day and other activities. Gayelle DayPrime
is also used to facilitate Community announcements as well as paid infomercial clients.
