Gayelle Family Fair 2008

Janine Charles-Farray, Marketing Officer Friday 20th 2008

“I know you remember Gayelle’s Family Day, of course you remember Gayelle’s World Series. Well in true Gayelle style, we bringing the best of these games together. Yes, join us on Sunday June 29th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the St. James Amphitheatre for the GAYELLE FAMILY FAIR 2008. BRING YOUR FAMILY AND COME!”

Gayelle The Channel
usually celebrates its annual family day around this time of the year. However, in true Gayelle style, we’ve done the unexpected and combined two well-known Gayelle events: The Annual Gayelle Family Day and Gayelle World Series Games into one big Family activity called the Gayelle Family Fair 2008.

Still celebrating its 4th anniversary this year, Gayelle the Channel invites all its viewers, extended family and well wishers to the St. James Amphitheatre, Western Main Road St. James on 29th June 2008 for the biggest family lime ever in Trinidad and Tobago. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. This year, attendees will be in for a treat with one-of-a kind competitions like:

KC Sour Face Competition

Nobody can eat more than five ‘Sourface’ candy balls without making some serious monkey face because of the sour taste! Participants can enter the Diana SourFace competition for a chance to win the Best Sour Face of The Day.

Uncle Errol Says…DANCE!

Simon? Who is Simon? In the Gayelle Family Fair only Uncle Errol can give instructions and Uncle Errol Says…DANCE! At the Gayelle Family Fair contestants get the rare opportunity to dance with Uncle Errol, but you have to listen carefully, because you can only do what “Uncle Errol Says…”

‘Bring Back D Old Time Games’

We play enough Hopscotch in we days and Moral and Old Grady was the best lime around! Those days are back again at D Gayelle Family Fair: Hopscotch, Treeaay, Old Grady and more! A favourite for Republic Day, the staff of Gayelle The Channel challenges all those who play traditional school yard games to an all out tournament on Gayelle Family Fair day.
